We've nicknamed this "HolgerMesh!". Sourced from 90 metre SRTM data and resampled and converted to be fully compliant with the new terrain features of Flight Simulator X, this superb quality product rivals any payware mesh available today at a price you can't beat!
Why would you need this? If you have not already purchased any 3rd party terrain mesh products for Flight Simulator X (such as FSGlobalX or FSGenesis), this download and self-installer will add more definition to mountains, hills, canyons, coastlines and generally finesse the terrain to be more realistic than the default FSX one. The Steven Royals classic has been given a superb makeover by the man who brought us the delightful Thistle Island (now part of OZx 1.0). Ron Tape has ported across Steve's models, but has gone much further with a full photoreal ground terrain including the peninsula to the south and plans to include Boston Island as well. One worth looking out for indeed!

former WW2 RAAF base, this rendition of Cunderdin by Jarrad Marshall
includes the GA and gliding airport, 2x 1800m runways, 60cm photoreal
underlay with all seasons, 100% custom built 3D scenery - all
buildings, hangers and structures all designed using photos of
real-world airport, Static aircraft: VH-NEP Neptune (based at
Cunderdin) and Dromader water bomber VH-NID, a custom runway including
high-resolution textures and 3D lights, full autogen and salt pans and
other approach VFR references. This will be a wonderful airport to full
in for glider, GA and nostalgia buffs!
